What is Bushcraft?

Wikipedia says… “Bushcraft is about thriving in the natural environment, and the acquisition of the skills and knowledge to do so. Bushcraft skills include firecraft, tracking, hunting, fishing, shelter-building, navigation by natural means, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging, water sourcing, hand-carving wood, container construction from natural materials, and rope and twine-making, among others.”

Camp Your Own Camp!

An Appalachian Trail thru-hiker once told a newcomer to the trail “You must hike your own hike”. No two hikers are alike. Well, that is our message to you here… you should “camp your own camp”. This site is not about telling you how to go about the “correct” practice of bushcraft camping. Our goal is to collect and offer up an organized library of resources and information available from dozens of men & women who enjoy the pastime known as bushcraft.
